INSIDE THE MILL
Inside Our Mill
A roller flour mill in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, running since 1990.

Flour is a simple product that leaves very little room for error. A single careless step — grain that is not cleaned properly, rollers that are not set correctly, a packing area that is not maintained — shows up immediately in the finished product. That is why our process is built around checks rather than assumptions.
HOW IT IS MADE
From grain to flour
Wheat Procurement process.Wheat Procurement
Wheat is selected and brought in from the growing belt around Kasganj and the wider region, and inspected on arrival.
Cleaning process.Cleaning
Grain passes through cleaning to remove dust, stones, chaff and foreign matter before it enters the mill.
Conditioning process.Conditioning
Cleaned wheat is conditioned with controlled moisture so that the bran separates cleanly from the endosperm during milling.
Roller Milling process.Roller Milling
The conditioned wheat is milled through successive roller stands, gradually reducing the grain instead of crushing it in one pass.
Sifting & Grading process.Sifting & Grading
Sifters separate the streams into Atta, Maida, Suji and Bran, each graded to its required particle size.
Quality Check process.Quality Check
Product is checked for colour, texture, granulation and cleanliness before it is cleared for packing.
Packing & Dispatch process.Packing & Dispatch
Flour is packed in a hygienic area, weighed, stitched and stacked for dispatch.

Hygiene at a flour mill is a daily discipline, not an annual exercise. Our production and packing areas are cleaned on schedule, machinery is maintained to keep contact surfaces clean, and finished stock is stored off the floor in a dry, ventilated area.
Batches are handled so that stock moves in the order it was produced, and every consignment leaves the mill with the weight and grade it is billed for.
